Welcome to the bit about me. I studied English at Nottingham University as a mature student. After gaining my degree, I found freelance work with magazines, but I wanted to write fiction. Poems, short stories, radio play scripts, a novel and children’s books followed. One of those books has grown into WOOD, Taller, Older, Wiser.

I type straight onto a laptop allowing dialogue to lead the way. Sometimes a humorous or heartwarming scene will turn up and surprise me. That’s what keeps me writing.
